Vegas Transition

You can show or hide the transitions window by opening the View menu and then by clicking
View > Select> Window> Transitions.
The window is used to select and preview effects and control its detailed settings.
In the window to the left of the effect titles, when you select an address, you’ll see ready-made templates for this transition, and the effect by clicking and dragging it on the desired video, image, or text is inserted on the timeline.
The effect can be added at the beginning of the event or at the end, and it is usually used between two segments to determine the transition method from the first section to the second section.
When you drag and drop the transition to the video, the settings window automatically appears, with control options and settings, which often differ from one to another depending on the transition configuration.
If you close the settings window and want to re-edit, a button is available to edit the transition and appears within the transition area, and the transition duration can be controlled by increasing or decreasing the overlap area between the two adjacent segments.
If the transition is at the beginning or end of a single clip, the transition duration can be extended or shortened in the same way as the Fade in and Fade out.
